Antibiotics
- A medicine from your Doctor to fight cellulitis

Cellulitis (sell-u-lite-us)
- An infection in your skin which may be sore and make you feel unwell, a bit like a cold

Hosiery (hose-er-ee)
- A special sock or sleeve that helps with your swelling

Limb (lim)
- Arm or leg
Lymph (limf)
- A clear fluid that collects under the skin. This includes any germs or bacteria that are under the skin

Lymphatic system (lim-fatic sis-tem)
- A network of vessels that drains lymph away to keep your skin healthy

Lymphoedema (lim-fo-deema)
- A swelling of a part of your body. This may happen because you don’t have enough lymph vessels there

- A gentle massage that helps the lymph drain away. You and your parents may be shown how to do this

- A cream that you put on to keep your skin soft and healthy

Vessels
- Tubes that carry fluid underneath the skin - veins and arteries are also called vessels
